Bubba Watson has won his first PGA Tour event at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. Justin Rose held a 3 shot overnight lead only to shoot a 75 to finish three shots off the 14-under totals of play-off contenders Watson (66), Corey Pavin (66) and Scott Verplank (64). Pavin dropped out after the first hole and Watson secured the title on the next hole with a par.
An emotional Watson dedicated the win to his late father.
